Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort offers delicious dishes for as low as $9.95
SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz. (April 16, 2019) – On Sunday, May 12, treat mom to a memorable Mother’s Day meal with dining specials at Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort. From fine dining to buffets, each property offers a selection to fit every mood and appetite. The following are the dining specials offered at each property:
Casino Arizona
CAZ SPORTS BAR
The CAZ Sport Bar will offer Bourbon Baked Glazed Ham with roasted carrots, asparagus, and potatoes au gratin. The dish includes a Strawberry Lemon Tart for dessert, $15.50.
BINGO HALL AT CASINO ARIZONA
It will be more than her cards that will Mom yelling “Bingo!” this Mother’s Day Casino Arizona’s Bingo Hall will offer Chicken Chow Mein, yellow chow mein noodles, white meat chicken stir-fried, dark sauce, salary, and onion. The dish is served with two spring rolls and a Strawberry Tart, $9.95 (+tax).
CHOLLA PRIME STEAKHOUSE & LOUNGE AT CASINO ARIZONA
Casino Arizona’s hidden gem for dining, Cholla Prime Steakhouse and Lounge will offer a prix fixe menu for $29 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mother’s Day. The menu will start with the choice of an appetizer of Potato Leek Soup with potato, roasted leeks, bacon, and cream or a Spring Mix Greens Salad with spinach, ricotta salata cheese, candied walnuts, pear and apple slices, and fresh strawberry vinaigrette. The main course is Grilled Salmon accompanied by Fruit Salad with lemon risotto and glazed carrots while dessert is Strawberry Poppy Seed Cake with poppy seed sponge cake, fresh strawberries, and strawberry sauce. Each item on the prix fixe menu is also available al-a-cart.
SALT RIVER CAFE
Salt River Café will offer a tasty Beef Stroganoff served with a dinner roll and a side salad with choice of dressing from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Mother’s Day. It will also be served with a fountain soda and a Strawberry Chocolate Tart, $9.95 (+tax).
THE WILLOWS RESTAURANT AT CASINO ARIZONA
Enjoy a sweet Mother’s Day deal at Willows. For breakfast from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. enjoy Hot Smoked Salmon Benedict served with house made hot smoked salmon, a tender english muffin, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, caper garnish, peppered breakfast potatoes and toast, $9.95.
Dinner specials at the restaurant will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and include a Steak Dianne with beef tenderloin medallions pan seared with mushrooms, cognac and cream. Served with potatoes gratin, asparagus and a choice of soup or salad, $22.95. The soup of the day is Navy Bean and Ham for $3.25. Dessert will be New York Cheese Cake with macerated strawberries and fresh whipped cream, $4.
THE EAGLES BUFFET AT CASINO ARIZONA
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the buffet will feature Caviar Eggs Benedict, Biscuits with Country Gravy, Chef’s Waffle Station, Cheese Blintzes with strawberry sauce, Eggs and Omelets to order, Southwest Scrambled Eggs, Honey Smoked Bacon, Sausage links, Seasoned Hash Browns, Chef’s Fresh Fried Donuts, and Breakfast Bread Pieces.
From 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. enjoy Slow Roasted Prime Rib with Roasted Au Jus, Maple Glazed Ham, Lemon Pepper Chicken, Fresh Baked Salmon, Pasta Prima-Vera, Fresh Cauliflower and Broccoli with herbed butter, Whipped Potatoes and Gravy, French Onion Soup, Deep Fried Fantail Shrimp, Iced Oysters on the half shell, Ceviche, Assorted Smoked Fish Varieties, Mixed and Composed Salads, Seasonal Fresh Fruit Assortment, Crudités, and Antipasti trays. BLUE COYOTE CAFÉ
Starting at 11 a.m. Blue Coyote Café will start out with a choice of soup or salad, followed by Red Snapper for an entrée, seared red snapper, quinoa salad, broccolini, and heirloom tomato relish. To top off the delectable Mother’s Day meal, enjoy Chocolate Lava Cake with raspberry ganache, $21.95.
ORANGE SKY
With breathtaking views of the Valley, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Talking Stick Resort’s signature restaurant, Orange Sky will offer a prix fix menu for $70 per person with an option to order items separately. First course, Strawberry and Fresh Ricotta Salad, verbena dressing, organic greens, and almond brittle. Second course will feature Grilled Gulf Shrimp, basil risotto, sugar snap peas, and carrot-ginger butter. Followed by two entrees, Ancho-Coffee Rubbed Beef Tenderloin or Alaskan Halibut Filet. To finish out the night a choice of two desserts will be available, Meyer Lemon Mousse Cake or Cordillera Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte.
THE ARENA POKER ROOM
A very special Mother’s Day meal will be served in The ARENA Poker Room from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. for $19. Guests can enjoy a Caesar Salad, Sirloin Steak & Shrimp Bordelaise with shrimp kabob, bordelaise sauce, saffron rice, and concluding with Strawberry Mousse served in a chocolate cup.
OCEAN TRAIL
From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. guests will enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu, starting with Clam Chowder, followed by Twin Lobster Tails with romesco sauce, steamed vegetables, saffron cous cous. The meal concludes with a White Chocolate Dome with raspberry sauce for $59.
WANDERING HORSE BUFFET- Two-day Weekend Celebration
Wandering Horse Buffet will offer a two-day celebration in Mom’s honor. Starting on Saturday, May 11, the eatery will serve brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a menu that has a wide variety of delicious breakfast items, some items include: Eggs Benedict, Omelets made to order, Herb Crusted Prime Rib Roast, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and an assortment of Chef Peggy’s Pastries and Desserts. $37.95 - adults/$19.95 – children (5-12 years old)

On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, Wandering Horse’s brunch will serve brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include: Traditional Eggs Benedict, Biscuits & Gravy, French Toast, Waffles, Pancakes, Cinnamon Buns, and Pastries. Also, on the menu, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. will be Prime Rob, Roasted Garlic and Sweet Peppers platter, Bone-In Chicken, Braised Short Ribs, Sirloin Steaks, Spicy Thai Beef Lo Mein, Chicken Florentine Pasta, Crab Stuffed Oysters, and more.
